The project at 27 Dutton Street was a full restoration of an older home in Yass. The goal was to upgrade the house and make it work better for the family, but without losing the original look and feel. We completed structural repairs, updated worn areas, and made improvements throughout.
A big part of the job was adding an upstairs parents’ retreat, giving them their own space away from the main living areas. The main challenge was making sure all the new work didn’t stand out or look too modern. Everything had to tie in with the existing home so it still felt original when it was finished.
